Old world Neapolitan warmth, reinterpreted for Riyadh's contemporary dining scene.
Role Brand identity, creative direction, and visual production
Napoli project

Napoli needed a brand system that could hold the soul of a family-run Neapolitan trattoria while competing in Riyadh's fast-growing high-end dining market something equally at home on a two meter backlit sign and a wax-sealed menu. The goal was a full identity system, not a logo.
The Brief
Strategy
Heritage, elevated. The wordmark borrows the boldness of old-world Italian signage and reinterprets it with modern restraint, so the brand reads as premium rather than themed.
Ritual over rush. Candlelit table settings, wax-sealed menus, and hand-tied gift packaging all signal slow dining and occasion — positioning Napoli as a destination, not a quick meal.
Ingredient-first storytelling. Produce and process — a crate of vine tomatoes, pasta rolled by hand — are treated as brand imagery in their own right, tying the identity back to craft and provenance rather than only plated final dishes.
One mark, every scale. The logotype was built to survive dramatic scale changes, from storefront signage down to a one-inch wax seal, without losing character or legibility.

Wordmark : a custom display serif with sculpted, wave-like counters: distinctive, but restrained enough to sit on brick, linen, or a phone screen without fighting the space around it.
Colour : a deep bordeaux ground with warm cream and brushed brass, reading intimate under candlelight and premium under gallery lighting.
Monogram : a standalone "N" mark for wax seals, embroidered linens, and anywhere the full wordmark won't fit.
Identity System
Applications
Environmental & signage — exterior storefront signage set against the Riyadh skyline, a backlit interior feature wall, and dimensional brick-mounted lettering for a secondary entrance.
Tableware & service — napkins carrying both the full wordmark and the monogram, wax-sealed menu covers, and place settings designed to photograph as well in a guest's story as in a hero shot.
Packaging & gifting — a rigid gift box with hand-tied twine, kraft-wrapped grissini, and a structured carrier bag that extend the dine-in ritual into takeaway and corporate gifting.
Digital presence — a full Instagram grid system — plated dishes, pasta-making process, interior, espresso — built around the same three-colour palette, so the feed reads as a continuation of the room rather than a separate marketing layer.
Campaign photography — hero imagery uses the wordmark as a graphic device layered into the shot itself (parmesan falling over pasta, the wordmark set into a crate of tomatoes) rather than a logo stamped in the corner.

Six-plus distinct touchpoints environmental, tableware, packaging, digital, and campaign photography built to a single production standard. That's the breadth of a full identity engagement rather than a logo delivery: the kind of cross-channel system that reads as six-figure-calibre brand work.
